Award-winning bicultural filmmaker (MoMA NY, Lincoln Center) and standup comedian “the Japanese tease” Atsushi Ogata commands the stage with a high-status persona. Blending wide-eyed self-reflection with dynamic act-outs, his autobiographical storytelling hilariously depicts global culture, chaotic mishaps and a high-octane street fight. Atsushi performs in NY, LA, London, Tokyo and produces 'World Comedy in NYC' shows at Broadway Comedy Club in New York and “007 Tons of Laughs – World Comedy from Japan, Europe and Beyond” at Edinburgh Fringe 2026.
